Fall Family Fun Day

UPDATE 10/6/21: Out of an abundance of caution, the PTO has decided not to hold a Fall event this year. It was not a decision that was made lightly as the pumpkin carving event is our favorite!
We are looking forward to the time when we can all gather safely again!

Unfortunately, the PTO was not able to hold this fun fall event in 2020 due to COVID restrictions.
However, we did give away many pumpkins to NES families to carve!

The NES PTO's Fall Family Fun Day was held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 and a fun time was had by all! Many thanks to all those who made this event possible...THANK YOU to Sam Patterson from Patterson's Farm for donating the pumpkins, THANK YOU TO the Northfield Police Department for helping the kids cut the lids off of the pumpkins, THANK YOU to the Northfileld Junior Firefighters for helping the kids scoop out the pumpkins, THANK YOU to Laura Diluzio & Erving Station for donating the ice cream, and a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the amazing PTO volunteers who gave their time and energy to create a fun day for the kids! Amy Grover, Kelly Gagnon, Missy Kalinowski, Sarah Rastallis, Reina Dastous, Megan MacDougall-Goulding, Jill Leger, Kara Brown, Tierney Sodders, Sandra Gradoia, Holly Stacy, Joe Stacy, Jill Fortier, Jeff Grover, Sara Ray, April Greene, Ruth Davidson, Cindy Pease, Craig George, and Cheryl George. 🎃

Fall Family Fun Day - Sunday, October 27th, 2019 - 2-4pm

Stop in anytime and enjoy some fun, seasonal activities! We won’t be trying to break any pumpkin carving records this year (405 last year was enough!), but everyone who attends will get to carve a pumpkin to either bring home or display in front of the school. This FREE event will also feature fall crafts and face painting! There will be yummy snacks and drinks available for purchase. Hope to see you there!

Volunteers are needed to help make this a fun event! Help with the craft table, volunteer at the food table, or offer to make a yummy treat! Go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e4da4a82ea1fc1-fall to see where help is needed and sign up! Thank you in advance!

Also at this event, there will be a CLOTHING SWAP!

Here’s how it works…

• Drop off your clean, gently worn children’s clothing in the gym during Parent/Teacher conferences on Thurs, Oct. 24 and Fri, Oct. 25 (children’s winter clothing, shoes and boots, as well as Halloween costumes will also be accepted)

• Shop for FREE during the Fall Family Fun Day for items your kids need!

If you have any questions, OR if you would like to help sort the clothes, please email the PTO (northfieldelementarypto@gmail.com) OR call/text PTO Co-Chair, Cheryl George (413-522-0576). Thank you!
