SPRING CARNIVAL & FUN RUN - MONDAY, JUNE 19TH 9am-1pm
This event has been rescheduled from May 20th to June 19th (same time, 9am-1pm). The planning committee (about 10 parent volunteers), made the agonizing decision to postpone this event due to the forecasted rainy weather. Please know that every Saturday and Sunday in June was considered, but the planning committee ultimately decided on Monday, June 19th since there is NO SCHOOL on that day due to the Juneteenth holiday. A lot of planning and organizing goes into this event, and all parents are welcome to join the next PTO meeting on Wednesday, June 14th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria to finalize the details of this event.
All runners who were registered for this event on May 20th will automatically be registered for this rescheduled event on June 19th. Parents/Guardians will need to sign a new waiver with the updated date when they check-in their child before the run.

The Northfield Elementary School PTO Spring Carnival & Fun Run has become
an annual tradition that the children look forward to every year!
This half mile Fun Run is for all children in Preschool through Grade 6 (Preschool parents only are welcome to run with their child). This run is not timed and everyone will receive a prize.
The Fun Run begins at 9:00AM on Main Street in front of Northfield Elementary School.
(THANK YOU to the Northfield Police Department for closing Main Street for this event!).
If your child(ren) would like to participate, please complete this REGISTRATION FORM for EACH CHILD and return to school NO LATER THAN Wednesday, May 17th.
ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS MUST SIGN-IN BETWEEN 8:15-8:45AM ON THE DAY OF THE RUN AT THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL TO RECEIVE THEIR RACE BIB.
Runners will head south on Main Street to turn around near the IGA/blinking light and then run north on Main Street finishing on the NES playground.
Kids who do not want to run are encouraged to attend and cheer on their friends & classmates!
There is no fee for the Fun Run and volunteers are greatly appreciated!

This family event is an exciting day filled with lots of fun! The day starts with the Fun Run, a 1/2 mile run down Main Street and back to the school. After the race, the Carnival begins! There are fun games, activities, yummy food & much more! This event is organized, coordinated, and run by volunteers! Many people are needed to make the Carnival a success!
