SPRING CARNIVAL & FUN RUN

Northfield Elementary School Playground
Come for the RUN and stay for the FUN!
The Northfield Elementary School PTO Spring Carnival & Fun Run has become
an annual tradition that the children look forward to every year!
FUN RUN
This half mile Fun Run is for all children in Preschool through Grade 6 (Preschool parents only are welcome to run with their child). This run is not timed and everyone will receive a prize.
The Fun Run begins at 9:00AM on Main Street in front of Northfield Elementary School.
(THANK YOU to the Northfield Police Department for closing Main Street for this event!).If your child(ren) would like to participate, please complete this UPDATED REGISTRATION FORM for EACH CHILD and return to school by Friday, June 6th.
ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS MUST SIGN-IN BETWEEN 8:15-8:45AM ON THE DAY OF THE RUN AT THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL TO RECEIVE THEIR RACE BIB.
Runners will head south on Main Street to turn around near the IGA/blinking light and then run north on Main Street finishing on the NES playground.
Kids who do not want to run are encouraged to attend and cheer on their friends & classmates!
There is no fee for the Fun Run and volunteers are greatly appreciated!

CARNIVAL

THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT!
*Games and activities are FREE, except for the Dunk Tank.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase and/or make donations to the PTO for other goodies too!

DUNK TANK ($1 FOR 3 THROWS) with the 6th grade!
TOUCH-A-TRUCK with NES Fire Dept
YUMMY FOOD
FACE PAINTING with the 5th grade!

Petting & Photo Area with BABY GOATS from Northfield's own Finicky Farm!
Spin with Lynn Cotton Candy Creations ($6)
Family Concert with Roger Ticknell *This program is supported in part by a grant from the Northfield Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
The Northfield Police Department will be handing out FREE ice cream treats!
***VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!***

This family event is an exciting day filled with lots of fun! The day starts with the Fun Run, a 1/2 mile run down Main Street and back to the school. After the race, the Carnival begins! There are fun games, activities, yummy food & much more! This event is organized, coordinated, and run by volunteers! Many people are needed to make the Carnival a success! Please consider giving your time to help make this a fun day for the kids! THANK YOU!
